After completing the system for PI9RD, Rado Telescope Dwingeloo, there was some more interest to extend my own capability to this frequency as well. Based on the availability of DU3T SSPA and Pre-amplifier I decided to start collecting the various parts for this band.

Setup progress
August 2023 – At PI9RD bits and pieces were available to build a 3400Mhz system. After completing this system I tested it in my dish.
December 2024 – After succesfull QSO’s the system is moved to PI9RD
June 2025 – Decided to build another station for my dish. It will use a SG-Lab transverter / DU3T SSPA and G4DDK preamp. Feed is SM6FHZ with OM6AA choke.
